Shri Muthumariamman temple in Naducauvery, near Thiruvayaru is nearly a century old. The presiding deity is very powerful and has blessed all her devotees over the years. The temple in its current form was developed during the 2000s with the blessings of Sree Kanchi Kama Koti Peedathipathis.The kumabhishegam was performed in 2002 and in 2014. Devotees can visit the temple which is 20kms from Thanjavur big temple en-route to Thirukattupalli (via Kandiyur)along the banks of river Kudamurutti.The presiding deity is Shri Muthumariamman, with Vinayagar and Murugan Sannidhi adjoining the main deity. The temple also has a sannidhi for Saptha Maatha and Seikatha Amman in the premises.

Daily poojai is performed to the deity by the priest. Special poojas are arranged during auspicious days and a special 9 day pooja is performed during Navaratri along with Golu.

Devotees visit Shree Seikatha Amma for blessings to get child and protecting children from any health problem. SHE has blessed many families.
